Four-star safety Jacob Bradford from Baton Rouge announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday.

The 6-0, 190-pound prospect from Catholic High School was previously committed to Houston but reopened his recruitment this week after visiting LSU last weekend.

Bradford is rated the No. 34 cornerback in the country and the No. 12 overall player in Louisiana for the class of 2025, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

His verbal pledge gives LSU 27 commitments for the class of 2025.

I like it. Can be developed. 5 stars in HS often don’t do as well in college

Why are we settling for the 34th best db. I get it he’s from Louisiana, but there’s a reason he was committed to Houston. We’re not winning the CFP unless we’re consistently signing top 5 players at their position. Elite results require elite recruits.

That might be the worst take I've ever read on this website. I've read a lot too. Congratulations on that accomplishment
