LSU defensive tackle target Phidarian Mathis announced that he will go public with his college decision on Tuesday around 4:30 pm.

The four-star tackle from Monroe, LA (Neville HS) will make his decision the from the grave of Tyrell Cameron, who tragically passed away after suffering an injury while playing in a High School football game two years ago.

He will be deciding between LSU, Alabama, and TCU.

I was a the Franklin Parish/Sterlington game when Tyrell lost his life. Our town of Winnsboro came together like never before. Even if he announces somewhere else, this shows class. But plz go to BR.

Completely agree. Pretty selfless of him to honor his fallen teammate. I hope he picks purple & gold, but if not, I hope people keep it classy and respect his decision.

He's coming to LSU, along with Wilson, and build a defense to stifle everyone we play. Including Bama! Coach O said bigger, faster, and stronger on d-line and o-line, and that's what he's doing! The turnaround is in progress!

He's staying home. He's going to make his announcement at tha grave site of another player two parishes over. It would be real disrespectful to commit to another school

Comon man. Why do you even put that dumpster fire Alabama in your mix. Stay home if you know what's good for you!

Dumpster fire? They've won 3 SEC titles and have been in the playoff every year it's existed. They've also been to the national title in back to back years with one win. I hate those mouth breathing hillbillies more than anyone, but dumpster fire? Cmon bruh...
