Five-star linebacker Harold Perkins announced Wednesday that he is signing with LSU over Texas A&M and Florida.

Perkings, a 6-3, 210-pound prospect from Cypress, Texas, is rated the No. 1 linebacker in the country for 2022 and the No. 1 overall player for the state of Texas, according to 247 Sports. He was previously committed to Texas A&M but reopened his recruitment after Brian Kelly was hired.

The NCAA rules are that the Colleges cannot be involved with NIL deals and no payment can be given until a player actually plays in games. I don’t know where some of y’all come up with all this inside NIL information.
