Five-star linebacker Ben Davis from Gordo, AL (Gordo HS) announced his top seven schools on Wednesday which included LSU.

Davis is rated as the No. 1 inside linebacker in the country and the No. 2 overall player from the state of Alabama, according to Rivals.

Securing a top linebacker on National Signing Day next year will be a major priority for the Tigers after not signing one in the 2015 recruiting class.

Earlier on Thursday, Rahshaun Smith, the No. 1 outside linebacker in the country according to Rivals, reported an offer from LSU.

Just maybe he doesn't want to follow his dad's legacy!

Warrick Dunn was never recruited by LSU because the coaching staff sucked at the time. When Saban came along he never let a player of Warrick Dunn's caliber get out of Louisiana.

Warrick Dunn was from Baton Rouge and never played at LSU so anything is possible.

He's not leaving Alabama. Wishful thinking. This is pure pomp and circumstance.

We really need an ILB this year. Garrett is going to be a junior in 2016, so when we missed on Lewis last year, we need to pick up probably 2 ILBs this year.
