LSU is the latest school to offer 6-3, 227-pound defensive end / linebacker Rahshaun Smith from Bradenton, FL (IMG Academy).

Smith is rated as a five star prospect and the No. 1 outside linebacker in the country, according to Rivals.

247Sports and ESPN both classify Smith as a four-star defensive end prospect.

Smith's teammate at IMG Academy is Saivion Smith, the No. 1 cornerback in the country, who recently committed to LSU.

I didn't say it was hard to follow. I said frustrating. One site has him #1 yet he's a composite 4 star.

He is a five star and #1 at OLB on rivals.

He a four star and classified as a DE on 247 and ESPN

per the above article:
"Smith is rated as a five star prospect and the No. 1 outside linebacker in the country, according to Rivals.

247Sports and ESPN both classify Smith as a four-star defensive end prospect. "

Just different sites opinions, not too hard to follow

Yea which was a complete mystery to me why Leo wasn't a 5*. 5* is defined as someone who is supposed to dramatically affect the outcome of a game and have a huge impact for his college team. Leo is a game changer at LBer. I really wanted him at LSU. He's going to be fun to watch. But I hope BUGA runs his arse over multiple times.

Leo Lewis was ranked 4* number 60 overall but was the number 1 inside linebacker. So it happens.

That a #1 player at his position is a 4* and not a 5* is what makes it all so frustrating to try to follow.
