LSU head coach Ed Orgeron visited with elite five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson in Houston, TX on Thursday night.

Wilson, a 6-4, 329-pound prospect from Episcopal HS, is a major target that Orgeron would love to land in the 2017 class. He is the country’s top-ranked defensive tackle and No. 3 overall prospect.

Schools like LSU, Ohio State, Florida State, Texas, and Alabama are all in the mix to land Wilson on Signing Day.

For more info on Wilson, visit his profile page on our 2017 Recruiting Tracker.

Whoever does land Wilson will be getting a guy that'll be able to start on day one. Wilson is the kinda DT that will keep centers and guards awake at night.

You know that's never the case. People dont stay awake worried about a D lineman.

For a guy we hired largely on the basis of his recruiting prowess, and the fact that this kid in literally in LSU's backyard....this is a must get.
