Elite five-star wide receiver JaMarr Chase from Metairie, LA will be deciding between LSU and Auburn on National Signing Day, he announced on Twitter.

Chase, a 6-1, 192-pound prospect from Archbishop Rummel, is rated the No. 4 wide receiver in the country and the No. 1 overall player from the State of Louisianna for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports.

He originally committed to Florida back in July of 2017, choosing the Gators over LSU and TCU but de-committed in November and reopened his recruitment.

If a player makes a decision off of the fanbase, then they will have a miserable career in all things athletics.

He and Marshall could be the next Beckham and Landry... hope that’s going through his head.

Huge loss if they allow him to get away. We have been losing top La recruits to Bama, let’s not start with auburn. LSU needs wr’s bad. Hope this kid stays home.

would totally suck to have this kid at auburn and have to play against him for 3 years. I hope LSU lands him.

Recruting may be the only thing that saves O and gives him a chance to still have success.

People laugh at how old Sullivan is but he is one of the best receiver coaches in the country. Hell, he may be the best. A chance to learn from Sullivan could be the deciding factor.

I like Sullivan but we haven't developed a QB in long time and that could be a factor.
