Carter, a three-star prospect from Many, LA announced his decision via Twitter Wednesday afternoon:

They need to quit calling these teenager decisions 'commitments'.

Should call them "inclinations" all the way up to signing day.

Seriously. They need another formal status for it so that everyone is on the same page as to what the action is.

Exactly why I don't care what any of them say until the fax comes in.

This crap is getting ridiculous with these kids. Just hold off until you are 100% sure where you want to go.

But then they wouldn't get all the social media attention that they crave.

You'd think the 40 year decision would be why you commit to the home team, the 4 year decisions is to leave

He's going to UCLA. shite ton of opportunity out there. it's not like he's going to Mississippi or Alabama. The 40 year decision is definitely not to stay in Louisiana even if you love the culture and sports. We really need to step it up in that department of having kids actually want to build here instead of some other state.

Far more likely to end up where you started no matter what the outside perspective suggests is better.

I'm the one who will usually sit here and defend these kids, bc well, they're kids. However, what this dude just did is even something I can't defend. Maybe he didn't really have the offer he thought he did?

Well at least you didn't sign anything kid. This does appear to be a nationwide trend; these kids need to stay silent until they are 100% sure

We will be fine at RB. After Guice win the heisman every back in the country will want to play for LSU.

well good for him. where he attends school is a big decision that will follow him for the rest of his life. if he wants to play where none of his family or friends will even be able to watch him on tv, then UCLA is the place to go. when he changes his mind and wants to come to LSU, maybe there will be room for him on the scout team. move on and offer that scholarship to someone who wants to be a Tiger.
