Even though LSU freshman Ben Simmons has not even played a collegiate game yet, the five-star prospect from Australia is already being projected as a top pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

David Gardner with SI.com has Simmons as the No. 2 prospect for the 2016 Draft right behind Kentucky freshman 7-footer Skal Labissiere.

2. Ben Simmons, LSU
Freshman | 6’10”, 239 pounds | forward

An Australian native, Simmons came to the U.S. in 2013 to play for Montverde (Fla.) prep, which regularly churns out college and NBA prospects. His godfather, David Patrick, is an assistant at LSU and helped to secure his commitment. Simmons has experience playing all five positions and has the ballhandling to prove it. At 6’10” and 225 (and counting) pounds, he’ll be a matchup problem for almost every opponent in the SEC.

Considering it's almost certain Ben Simmons will be playing in LSU uniform for only one year, every LSU home game next season should be jam-packed. P-Mac will rock again, baby!!!
