The Advocate is reporting that FBI wiretapped phone conversations between LSU coach Will Wade and basketball middleman Christian Dawkins will be revealed on a new HBO Documentary titled "The Scheme."

These wiretapped conversations have not been played publicly before.

FBI wiretaps of phone conversations between Wade and Christian Dawkins, a federally convicted basketball middleman, will be played as part of in HBO's "The Scheme," a source familiar with the case who'd seen a rough cut of the HBO program confirmed.

Partial transcripts of the wiretapped phone conversations — including Wade discussing a "strong-arse offer" for a recruit identified as LSU guard Javonte Smart, and another in which he tells Dawkins "I need to shut the door" before discussing another prospect who Dawkins "would have funded" — had been publicly reported before.
The documentary will air at 8 p.m. CT on March 31 on HBO. Here's the trailer:

dude is dirty???? the business is dirty. he isnt doing anything different as every other coach. Kal has been fired from 2 other places for doing the same thing, and you think he isnt doing it at UK? You think WW is the only one on FBI wiretaps? He was just a threat to bluebloods so he was targeted.

Yeah he isnt doing anything different. He was just stupid enough to get caught. The coaches that are good at this shite have middle men to take care of talking to bag men...not the damn head coach himself. Cant even cheat right smh.

Thank goodness, the moral authority of our time, HBO is here to save us from the horror of people being paid their market value for their services. My outrage meter is Full Nancy.

Can the FBI just release this? And why would they it know after all of what happened last year? What has changed?

Exactly. Sounds suspicious. I would think this is concealed information and not available to the public. Wade may have a case for libel.

Is this shite ever going to end? It's been legally resolved, long ago. You know that kid ended up going to another school. Are they being endlessly battered with continuous mentions in the media? Course not. They're royalty.

Awesome, at least the creators of this video let you know it’s the FBI that manufactured this whole situation. Dick Vitale screaming play the tapes! Dick you have been played!!!!! This is the definition of Entrapment

The full/complete tapes were never released due to the objections of the FBI, correct? How then can HBO make a "documentary" knowing they only have leaked tapes. They know they don't have the full and accurate story. That's not a documentary. That's today's "journalism", i.e. "fake news."
