LSU senior guard Daryl Edwards remains out with an injury that may require surgery, according to head coach Will Wade who spoke at the Tip-Off Luncheon on Thursday.

Edwards did not play in LSU's last two games vs. Furman and UL Monroe. He is averaging 4.4 points this season.

Edwards can’t dribble or help this team except for spot up shooting. Hope he finds another school.

This is a big hit defensively.

I wondering if redshirting is possible since he has only played 9 games, then I looked it up and there isn't a redshirt rule in basketball like football. That's a shame for someone who played less than 1/3 of the season and no conference games can't be redshirted. If basketball had a similar redshirt rule as football it would work out to 10 games.

You could definitely tell early on something was off relative to last years successes. Hopefully he can avoid surgery and return to help the team. Good luck sir!
