Interesting choice of words. He did not say that there was "no active investigation into Will Wade." The NCAA could be investigating Wade for his pre-LSU days. Probably not, but you never know.

I think we all knew it was BS when they said Quarterman got paid to suck.

It's like some of you are stupid on purpose. Nobody said or implied LSU paid TQ to do anything. The "claim" is he was paid to entice representation.

I think you are under the impression we don’t know this. Every that can read knows it was an agent not LSU.

The unfortunate part is any recruiting damage that article may have done is already done. Every bluechipper that was looking at LSU is going to at least question in the back of their mind if they are going to be playing for a team that can't win anything because of sanctions in a year or two.

Should sue yahoo for defamation.

As JP said, if I were LSU, I would sue for defamation. Less that an hour to file it, and make that frick hire and attorney to deal with it. Once he realizes how much money it's going to cost him to defend it, maybe he'll apologize and retract the story or reveal his source. Put some pressure on the MOFO.

I am tired of the 1 and out rule. It is time for the NBA to fund their own minor league. Let these so-called superstars go the NBA right out of high school. That will make most of these issues go away. If they go all eligibility to college is gone.
