Ben Simmons, a five-star prospect and the No. 1 overall player in the nation, officially signed his National Letter of Intent with LSU on Wednesday afternoon at his Montverde Academy high school in Florida.

Simmons has been committed to Johnny Jones and the Tigers since October 2013 and will officially enroll at LSU this summer.
