Johnson isn't leaving for Texas. LSU to Texas is step down for baseball. A small step down but nevertheless a step down. Why would he leave LSU? He will not.

I really enjoy watching Jay Johnson speak. He speaks sincerely and honestly. No coach speak and incredibly well spoken.

They haven’t contacted me. If they did, Scotty would be first to know because it’s in my contract. I’m well built to be the guy that leads LSU and that’s where my head is at.
