Prepared? Y’all are going on about him saying that? No coach ever “prepared” me to play a particular baseball game. These are D1 athletes. They were prepared years ago. They know how to hit, throw strikes, play the field, etc.

With all due respect to his father passing away, this has been going on too long. Teams that for the most part underachieve if we are to believe that the talent evaluation is solid and the talent is what the recruiting says it is. Sometimes it's just time to move on and go in a different direction. There are a lot of really good, solid up and coming coaches that would bring new energy to this program. And right now it needs someone who is not so comfortable.

He reads the Rant... and so he's bought into the whole "mid week games don't matter" mentality.

So what were you doing instead of preparing the team Paul? Can you let us know WTF the game plans at the plate have been since the start of the season? Doesn't look like the team has a good approach at all. When your best hitter (Duplantis) has a slump this bad, you may want to consider changing some things up. Too bad we don;t have an actual hitting coach on staff to tweak some things. Keep hiring ex players to "teach" hitting. Seems to be a solid strategy. Do your players have the green light to steal whenever they want? Some serious questions need to be answered and you need to get your shite together and straighten this out.
