Following a 4-0 week, including a series sweep of South Carolina, the Tigers' chances of making the NCAA Tournament are still alive.

Sitting at 28-21 overall and 9-15 in conference play, head coach Jay Johnson believes the Tigers will need to win five of the remaining seven games to reach the NCAA Tournament.

LSU will face Tulane on Tuesday night, then a road series at No. 6 Georgia this weekend, and will wrap up the regular season with a home series against Florida before the SEC Tournament.

Jay has done a good job of controlling the peak. This is going to be one helluva ride.

I don't see the Tigers winning more than maybe 2 regular season games so it's a moot point. We sweep a bottom feeder in the conference this past weekend, and all of a sudden people seem to believe that we are better than we are. The young hitters are surely coming around, but we are a long way from being competitive with Georgia or even Florida.
