Per LSUSports.net: Centerfielder Dylan Crews launched two homers Friday night to lead LSU to an 8-3 win over Vanderbilt at Hawkins Field.

The Tigers improved to 36-18 overall and 16-13 in the SEC, while the Commodores dropped to 35-18 overall and 14-15 in conference play.

Friday’s win clinched LSU’s first series victory in Nashville since 2005. The Tigers had lost four straight series at Vanderbilt prior to this weekend.

The series concludes at 1 p.m. CT Saturday in a game that will be carried on the LSU Sports Radio Network and televised on the SEC Network.

Too bad if 1 to 2 hundred LSU fans don't show up and whistle back today. It would be hilarious and probably cause rules to be adopted banning whistles.
