Multiple outlets have reported that LSU pitcher Grant Taylor is out for the season with a torn UCL. Per The Advocate:

LSU right-hander Grant Taylor is out for season with a torn UCL, LSU coach Jay Johnson confirmed to The Advocate on Monday.

Taylor, a sophomore, was in the running for a spot in the starting rotation this season after a successful summer in the Cape Cod League.

As a freshman last season, Taylor pitched in 17 games, including two starts. He was 4-1 with an ERA of 5.81 through 31 innings pitched. He struck out 39 and walked 21.
