Hopefully they can work something out with another team. David Ross went to the College World Series with Auburn and then things like this happened and he went to Florida and went to the College World Series again. He went on to win 2 MLB World Series rings. One with the Red Sox in 2013 and the other with the Cubs in 2016. Even though he finished his college career a Gator he will tell you to this day that he is an Auburn Tiger.

Chris is the shining example of a Tiger. He cheered on his team mates, worked his butt off, and when called upon, he performed to the best of his ability, coming through with a critical base hit or play on the field. God bless you and best of luck in the future!

Man, this is the shitty part of sports that we like to think doesn't exist. Unfortunately, for every top-tier sports team that we enjoy, there are a number of guys cut every year to make room for some new talent. I appreciate the class that Reid has shown and I sure hope coach has lined up some arrangements with another team that can benefit from his talent. I'll be following him next season.

Good luck young man. Enjoyed you in the SEC tourney against Florida in 2016, as well as other moments seeing you in the dugout giving A+ lip service.

Damn. We have serious talent in baseball as well. Basketball saw rachal leave bc of the vast amount of talent on the squad. Now, Chris reid is asked to leave the baseball team bc of the talent we have on the baseball roster. This is good, very good. Lets go win like we should with the talent we have in place, there are no excuses now. Same for football too. We have way too much talent for a mediocre sEason. Let's geaux tigers!

Dude is a gamer. Not saying he is the best or most talented, but he always showed up at the park ready to play and to support the team. Best of luck to him.
