2022 JR. NATIONAL SHOWCASE

Kale Fountain is a 2024 3B/RHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Lincoln, NE who attends Norris. Extra large athletic build with very good present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with good shift into contact, rotational upper body swing, has good bat speed and big strength at contact, will pull off his front side at times and cut off his swing, lots of power potential moving forward. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Has athletic actions for his size at third base and rounds the ball well with easy footwork, has a good exchange and a compact arm action, makes accurate throws from a higher arm slot. Excellent student.

LSU will probably miss out on Cabbage Sprinkler, though.
