That's a lot of trouble for a girls basketball game. If they had waited, the other team probably would've just passed them the ball anyway.

He can’t be on the court during a play. If I was officiating I would call a technical on him b/c he influenced a play while on the court.

Coaches are on the court during plays all the time. Kim Mulkey too.

Yes, coaches are allowed to get away with being on the court/field all the time, but only insofar as they are not interfering with the game. This would be like a football coach who steps into the way of an opposing receiver running a sideline route. This should've been a no-brainer technical foul.
