Multiple sources are reporting that Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason is expected to transfer to the University of Washington.

Eason, a sophomore from Lake Stevens, WA was replaced by Jake Fromm in the season opener vs. Appalachian State, and only returned to the field in mop-up time against Tennesee and Vanderbilt. Per the SeattleTimes.com:

Barring a last-minute change of heart, former Lake Stevens High School star quarterback Jacob Eason is expected to transfer from Georgia to Washington for the next step in his college football career, multiple sources told The Seattle Times.

Eason, a strong-armed 6-foot-5 sophomore, would have to sit out the 2018 season under NCAA transfer rules. He then would have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

The 2015 Gatorade national player of the year at Lake Stevens, Eason began this season as Georgia’s starting quarterback, but a sprained left-knee ligament knocked him out of the opener. True freshman Jake Fromm took over for Eason and did not relinquish the job, leading the Bulldogs to an SEC championship and Monday’s College Football Playoff championship game in Atlanta.

Why do QBs refuse to go to LSU? I just don't get it. QB is the only thing we've been missing for so long. Yet you have teams like UGA where multiple 5 stars are on the squad at same time.

He should have flipped to UF out of high school. He would be a 2 year returning starter in 2018 with back to back SEC Championships.

Haha...no.

Well we won one East championship without him.

But you were WAAAAAY far away from actually winning the ensuing SECCG. Let's not get carried away.
