"Rise Up" pictured won with the 838# fish pictured. Chad on "Breath Easy" was leading up to that point with a 835# fish. Winner won over 400k in cash and prizes for the guy that mentioned catch and release. Good times were had by all

Dude at the Marlin tournament in Orange Beach a month or so ago caught a 776lb (IIRC) but showed up to the weigh-in one minute forty-five seconds late. Would have won the tournament by nearly 100lbs. Shame on him.

We did that to a 720 pound blue marlin.

No need to kill it except of course if a trophy is more important to you.
