Things got out of hand at a travel baseball tournament in Indianapolis over the weekend when the head coach from the Cincy Flames grabbed a bat and went after a parent watching from the bleachers...
quote:

In all my years of Youth Sports Never in my life have I seen a Head Coach (Cincy Flames) come after a parent with 1 of his 13U Baseball Players Bats our of the Dugout to the left. In front of all these boys that he is suppose to be teaching & training to not only be good Ball Players but Good Young Men as well. INSANE! APPALLED!!!! This should go VIRAL! But on a good note Canes are in the Championship Game. Go Canes!!!

I love the “ there are women here” comment. What does that mean? Most of foul mouth on the video is from women. Women tend to greatly over value their presence as if they are needed.

Most of the travel coaches are wanna be Billy Martins. EVERY game is the last game of the World Series. They truly think if they win and have a good record, they will be hired by the high schools. I only wish I could say that is isolated but it's not. Happens pretty regularly. One of the reasons young people don't want to umpire. Parents and coaches chase away half of young people who start out umpiring. WHY get screamed at all day for small amounts of money.

I'm sure every kid on both teams are D1 talents, and this was an argument over National Letter of Intent Day. Parents are pathetic.

Coach was only trying to show the parent what kind of bat his team was using.

Parents are the worst. Had multiple fights and one all parent royal rumble at a flag football game.

I coach little league. Our league is not like this but it is little league and not travel ball. Plus we aren't at all-stars yet. That's when it gets a little crazy but not to this level. Not even close.

I volunteer umped some coach pitch and it was a horrible experience. I had people sitting behind the plate shite talking me at almost every game. The sad thing is we didnt even keep score and there were no winners and losers but people still bitched

I am coaching tee ball. It's pretty awesome. Just drown out some of the parents it's a blast. People like this clown need an arse whipping. I can say though I'm not under pressure and some of the parents around our league could use a working over. Even at the tee ball level.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Like how serious are we really taking this if you don't even bother playing baseball on the proper field.

I coach both of my boys (all sports). Communicate, be fair and consistent, and ignore irrational parents and you are gooch
