This is sophomore Ryan Sepede from Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada. He hit a walk-off grand slam, then dropped this incredible bat flip to follow...

He earned it.

I agree, isn't he considered out by throwing the bat?

Kid should be suspended. Not because of the flip per se, but because he threw it straight up. Could have hit the catcher or the ump. Until the ball clears the fence those shouldn't be worried about anything but the actual play, not falling baseball bats.

Walk Off grand slam you deserve any kind of bat flip you want. But always remember Universal Karma.

I mean I am cool with showing some celebration and enthusiasm, including a bat flip to give the pitcher the business, but he tossed the thing fricking 20 feet in the air. Call me old fashioned, but it wouldn't hurt to show some damn decorum and sportsmanship. That said, he fricking crushed that one.
