re: Anybody here race BMX back in the 80s? - AboveGroundPool
That's it, that's the only track I ever raced on, the very first time I signed up they were hosting some kind of national, I did average in that. My brother raced an age group 2 years below me and flipped over the handlebars on that first tabletop and broke his collarbone in his first and only race...

re: How much skill do professional fishermen really have? - AboveGroundPool
No way possible does KVD know anything about the tank ponds without inside info. Like previously stated, there were many people fishing it, and he still put a whipping on them.
I think he was told where to go look for those stumps and then he went mark them or he had someone go and...

re: Anybody here race BMX back in the 80s? - AboveGroundPool
I used to race at the old track in Gonzales off airline in the late 90's, we actually had a crew of us from our neighborhood that did it...we made dirt tracks in the cane fields behind the house at times too. I had a mongoose supergoose aluminum frame from a bmx place in Metairie (can't remember t...

re: Ouch.....! - AboveGroundPool
I did just about the exact same thing a little over a month ago at last island...we had just finished off our limit of specks and I was casting a top dog for fun. I brought a speck in and grabbed it without grabbing the line with the other hand. The fish slipped down out of my hand driving the top t...

re: To power pole or not to power pole? - AboveGroundPool
yes. I use one, makes holding your position much easier especially when you're right up on some cover or in an area where you don't want to spook fish with the trolling motor (like a dead end canal)...

re: Question for the bass boat folks. - AboveGroundPool
I'd be more concerned with the transom and motor than the year of the hull. Try to stay away from wood transoms. If you're concerned about resale after then you might look at age a little closer. ...
