Above ground pools. Trashy or not? What say the OT.

Not in a trailer park. In a moderately upscale neighborhood, $300k houses. Are above ground pools trashy or not? What say you?

If finished out with a nice deck setup they're fine. Hell, I've seen some in ground pools that are trashier.

We had one at our old house. Built a deck around it.
At our current house, we did a semi inground. 1/4 the cost of inground and can be buried. We have a concrete stamped deck around half of it. Walk right up and jump in.

As long as you keep it up I don’t see an issue. If it looks like trailer trash setup then yeah - trashy. Btw… you could save a ton of money with a viskween liner in the bed of your pickup and just add water when needed. Zero maintenance

Who gives a frick? You want a pool and can’t afford or in a place in life to get a real pool, I say get that above ground fricker and enjoy the shite out of it. Summer is hot as frick and an above ground pool is better than no pool.

Had one for years. Eventually the kids grew up and have left or were not interested in swimming.
It took a day to take down and clean up.
No hole in the yard to fill in. Done.

Above ground pools are awesome. Sometimes you can find one for free as long as you go take it down.
Have yourself a few years of swimming at home and of you don't want it anymore someone will come take it down and take it away for free.
