Watched some of the events held there, the views in slow motion of the athletes doing their flips and ski grabs with those towers as the backdrop were pretty cool in my opinion.

Yep. Cooling towers for a shut-down steel plant. But the nuclear story makes a better story.

No reason for a steel mill to have cooling towers unless it has a power plant that powers the whole mill.
