:doublebird: I was there in 1958 & saw his great run :doublebird: The best part of stopping Ole Miss ! ! ! :doublebird:
I'm OK on my 44 ft boat, in the Bahamas, watching the games on TV ! ! !
My first football game at LSU was in the early 1950's. I stood in the snow half way up my calf in Illinois & listened to LSU on a transistor radio on WWL radio, while I was in the USAF. Yes, I'm a old fart ! ! ! I saw Billy Cannon make his 89 yard live - no live TV back then. Back then we had freshmen teams. I was there when the first black player was recruited - the team ran him off. For most of that time we were not very good. I saw every one of Pistol Pete's home games.
I lived most of my life in Houston, Tx & couldn't get the games at all. The game last nite was the worst offence I've ever seen.

IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO GO - NOW ! ! !

LET THE WATER BOYS CALL THE PLAYS ! ! !

No one, & I mean any one, ever came close to The Pistol ! ! !
I was in school at LSU for all of Pistol Petes - '1966 through 1970. I was also there when LSU tried to bring in a black football player. He never played. I don't think he even had any practcing time. That was a time that not even the northern teams had had any black players.
Alabama will always get the brakes as long the SEC office's are there. They're to close to the SEC offices & to many Alabamas fans work in that office ! ! !  :banghead:

I returned to LSU, from four years in the USAF, & the Artic Circle :usa: I was manageing two apartment complexes, I was on the G.I. bill, & my wife was one of the highest payed secretaries Baton Rouge.I enjoyed my four years & then had to go back to the real world ! ! !
I came back from four years in the USFA - last year inside the ARTIC CIRCLE ! ! ! -  :usa: :usa: :usa: I came back to LSU the the same time the Pistol did & saw every one of his home games. Many times he would throw a no look pass to one or his team mates & if they weren't paying close attension he'd hit'm in the head ! ! !
MINE WAS 1951 ! ! ! :nana: :usa: :booboo: :doublebird:
Alabama seems to it very often ! ! !

That'll be hard to do passing ten times a game ! ! ! :banghead:
My first LSU football game was in 1954 ! ! ! I've seen it all ! ! ! I like Les, BUT . . . . I think, if he ever had that fire in his belly, he doesn't have it any more. He's a vey rich man that's lost that fire in his belly.

My first LSU game was in 1950, I watch Billy Canon make his run live, I stood out in Ill. in 6" of snow listening on WLL radio 890 am. :doublebird: I don't "Rant" much, but I enjoy lots of the those that do.
In 1963 I listened to WWL 870 am, standing in the snow over my shoes, at nite & got a good signal.
