re: The Unthinkable

Without an elite quarterback, we aren't anywhere near a playoff team. A lot of folks still don't think we are even with Brees. McCown is not even close to Brees's level. We'd be doomed. 3-6 wins.

My favorite game ever. Anyone who likes old-school RPGs and hasn't played it yet owes it to themselves.

Sworn to secrecy, though.
Vague hints? Are they a classic, "bland" design or something a little more interesting? And is there any timetable for when they are released to the public?

Sheep in the Big City. Hilarious show. I feel like I'm the only one who watched it growing up

Read a lot of the argument. I just love the "you're not reading my argument" argument when you had obviously answered it ad nauseum and brought outside sources to the discussion.
My experience with Wikipedia is that they bill themselves as the "encyclopedia that anyone can edit", and then when people come to try and improve it with valid submissions, snobs bitch and whine that your additions aren't valid or "notable" enough. Anyone who doesn't recognize Saints-Falcons as a great, historic rivalry needs to get their head out of their arse.

Good for them. That name really does have a lot of culture and history surrounding it; it just wasn't NOLA related.

Pretty solid analysis. I'm excited to see what we'll get from him.
re: Guys show your love for Ronde - 16 seasons he goes out into the sun

Yeah, I've got respect for Ronde. Great player. Mad props. Hate his guts and glad he's retiring.
That said, what did you expect from a Saints board? It's not an indictment on our fanbase that you made a stupid thread that isn't directly relevant to our team.

re: Worst 1st Round Pick by the Saints Ever
Posted by BulldogTiger on 5/1/13 at 1:52 pm to SaintlyTiger88
Has anybody mentioned that we traded two first round picks (17 and the 18th we got for Ricky Williams) to move up to 6 and take Sullivan? That was a dreadful pick in every way imaginable.
Still, I give the nod to Erxleben. Taking a kicker/punter in the first is terrible value even IF he pans out... and he flopped.

This one is a little better. I'd like to see different angles of it, but that's not bad.

Tsk tsk, bringing legitimate facts into a speculative, subjective thread. You might even shoot down a couple of empty, meaningless talking points if you keep this up. Shame on you.

the biggest issue is value regardless. he's going to need to be a regular ed reed
Let's say, hypothetically, Vaccaro comes in and locks shite down from day one and becomes the solid starter we need at one safety position. He never develops into a perennial all-star, but he is rock solid and supplants either Harper or Jenkins for good. Are you really, honestly going to be upset with the pick two or three years down the line because he's not a fricking Hall of Famer, or because he wasn't the "value" pick?
I understand reservations about this front office choosing a safety prospect, but the sky's not falling, and we're certainly not alone in our evaluation.
