re: Question for OT cardiologists
Posted by SMU Tiger on 4/8/19 at 10:10 pm to Jim Rockford
Jim - just read the full thread. If true VT, or suspected cardiac genetic issue - your choices are Houston Methodist, Mayo, and Cleveland Clinic. Have had a similar experience to yours and those three are the best at deep diagnosis, imaging, genetic screening. You want to go to an EP who sees rare/challenging arrhythmia daily, not once or twice a year. Good luck.

TFC is solid - based on Ajax training method and the Dynamo have recently connected with them in regards to their under 10 programs. Highly technical / heavy footwork.

Pearl Midtown. Great property - great management co. best location of all those you described
VaBamaMan -
I have experience with similar situation. Given what you have described, prolonged QT interval, etc., your friend's family should reach out to / look into the feasibility of contacting Dr. Michael Ackerman at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN or Jeffrey Kim at Texas Childrens in houston.
Good luck

First, work the cardiology fellow who posted he was interested in helping. He will have the best advice/guidance.
If they think it is "electrical" i.e. arrhythmia issues that haven't been seen on ECG, then get to Houston Methodist and have them see your daughter.
A Holter monitor may also be a good idea to ask the cardiologist about.
Good luck.
