not much help but a 91 z71 was my first truck, got it in 02 and my dad and I worked to fix it up. Probably the best time I had with my dad, great memories. Hope you and your sons have the same...

I use the put handle out when the tailgate is closed to keep my ice chest from sliding around....
Motor burnt out on the driver side of my f150 platinum couple months ago. It was stuck out an sounded like the motor burnt up. Eventually took it off and brought it to the dealer. They wanted 1400 to fix it. Told them to put it back in the bed of the truck and I will buy different steps. The go...

I perfer craftsman but the larger diameters I have snap on. Best advice I can give you with tools is if you are goin to buy an impact wrench only use it with impact sockets. ...

Just bought one a while back. Went a week later to get it registered. Went to a title place since omv had a long wait so I paid 20 more for the convenience. Will pay sales tax plus registration fee plus new plate fee. Permanent plates run 70 bucks...
Don't buy the duratrac's, u can drive my truck for the day and you wouldn't buy them either....
