Sorry didn't realize you were at one also. Exactly, I said that a few posts ago that it was too much to try to explain and wasn't worth the effort they have their misinformed opinions so be it.

Funny thing i just noticed. The op was asking about LNG plant operators pay. Im the only one that answered from an LNG plant, gave legit answers and got called bullshite on.

10% for some 8.5% for others of base pay. They used to give us random shares 1500 , 700, 900 spread over 3 years. Back when stock was lower 3500 shares.

That's what I was getting at. Plus the stocks you get and bonuses all add to your gross pay, but "we all lie about that". It's a waste of energy trying to lay it out.

Everybody that doesn't actually work these jobs knows better. Its not worth the time or effort to do a breakdown of our pay scales. Easier to let people believe what they want. I just threw some info out incase someone who's really interested in these jobs has a rough idea.

Yep, 1st Christmas I've worked in 7 years, and it was on nights. Did the family thing yesterday morning. Im by no mean saying it's the best job in the world. It does mean you are away from family at times. But as a whole it's not a bad deal. You work 26 weeks out of the year and get 200 vacation hours. If take all your time off you work 23 weeks. If you work 200 hrs of over time ,guess what you're back at your original 26 weeks. So you didn't work anymore time. You just moved days around. Still 6 months off. If you want more ot have at it, if you want less don't work it.

I'm sitting here reading this post on double time at a little over $120 an hr. Every operator at these LNG plants that have been working for more than 2 years is making in the $225 to $250 a year range. Depending on the amount of ot you want. Those of us that's been here longer make quite a bit more. I've personally never missed any of my kids football games in the last 6 years. When you work 7/7 and have over 200 hrs of vacation plus sick time life can be pretty good. I've seen $70,000 bonuses ( not mine) so take from that what you will. Alot of people are very happy working these jobs.

That's basically my house I'm building right now. Paid a draftsman $600 in Lake Charles to draw it up.
Not being an arse but similar situation, You're screwed. No chance at getting 50/50 custody working 14/14 and with kid at that age. Not good 1 was paying $1600 a month for 2 kids

Mine did this last week. Called Samsung they sent me to bestbuy where there is a rep and she took care of it. i'm offshore right now so i'd have problems explaining how to do it.

I was told at the local auto mechanic that they are starting to write up all trailers,utility, camping and boats. I got stickers for my camper and utility to carry in my truck. This was around Lake Charles i was told this.

I wonder if the paper took into account that some of these people bought guns to protect themselves from crazy exes and were trying to stay under the radar and this paper just gave out their address. Knowing that having a gun in the house MAY stop an honest person, but someone looking to do bad things are going to do what they want.
