Me too. Seems like they are waiting for Oral Roberts/Arkansas game to finish?

Upvote/downvote

Posted by McStraycat on 9/11/16 at 12:27 pm
Can someone link me to an explanation of the up vote/downvote system?
Can I track who I've up voted or down voted?
Can I track who has up voted or down voted me?
Is the system used for anything other than sorta like a FB "like"?

Thanks.
Damn folks!!! Do you not realize almost everyone in our area who owns an RV is either living in it or they have loaned it to relatives or friends who are now living in it?
I don't think it has anything to do with hugely disappointing effort of last week. Those rolling party pads are being used elsewhere.

Brandon's a talented guy but he don't have the head to go with the talent. He freaks the f**k out when the pressure is on. He can't put a bad play behind him and he can't handle the pressure.
Lee was the same way once he threw a few pick sixes.
The self doubt and the" what if I eff up" thoughts have made a nest in his mind. He's toast.

River Rat's on the Amite has changed hands again. Now it's the "old river bar". Pretty much sucks. They took out the stripper pole.

Rosie's bar and grill is my favorite in pelican, AK. No roads or cops. Many a fisherman has lost his share there in a weekend. They de pants ya

Lived in AK for a couple years. Never made it to Pelican. But AK has GREAT dive bars. The Salty Dog in Homer.. Peanut Farm and Darwin's Theory in Anchorage. Tony's in Cooper Landing on the Kenai Peninsula.

The Sour Dough in Dawson City, Yukon Territory.. home of the Sour Toe cocktail..google it, fckn gross. Love sitting in a roadhouse on the Al Can or Cassiar Highways just shooting the shite with the locals.

And of course..... on the Parks Highway, halfway between Denali and Fairbanks.... the only place to drink is Skinny Dicks Halfway Inn. No shite. That's the name of it. It was just the Halfway Inn but then Skinny Dick bought it.

But our swamp bars are still better.

There was a place just North of Holly Beach in the marsh adjacent to highway but I can't remember it's name. Rita blew it the hell away. Nothin but slab surrounded by debris. A week later I went by and they'd hung a tarp over the slab, plugged a cooler into a gennie. gathered a few chairs and tables and were open for business. I had to stop.

I love taking my boat to a bar. The older and more remote the better. Those places in the middle of nowhere that you can tie up, get out of the sun and drink some cold beer and enjoy some music. Maybe even fill up on crawfish or crabs.

I enjoy the Black Lake Club, the Blind River Bar (loved it more 10 years ago), Manny's, Sun Buns, Prop Stop, Tiki Hut... just a few in the Amite River/Maurepas area.

Wondering about everyone else favorites. I know there are some jewels scattered throughout Louisiana. I'd love to do some exploring. Is there a place y'all like to go before.... during..... or after a fishing trip?

After watching him speak to the media, I was pleasantly surprised at how composed and articulate he was for a kid of 18 years old. Gawd he looks young. He seems to be the ANTI PERILLOUX. A team player of strong character. I'm impressed. And hopeful.

Ate there yesterday. I'm an absolute brisket hound and do a lot of smoking at home so was excited to see a BBQ place I'd not yet tried.
I was very disappointed. So salty I could hardly eat it and was not even warm. Portion size very small. The mac and cheese was average. The beans tasted like canned. The service was horrible. I was told one of the owners recently died and the other is trying to carry on but consistency seems to be a problem.

If you aren't too busy, maybe you could help us touch up the ceiling paint in the locker room.

If you were true LSU fans you would know his dad talks on recruiting board and is very grounded and has a great family system.

Ummmm. Right. And if you were an actual adult with a few years of real life experience you would realize that teenagers, as a rule, screw up. It's just a question of how bad and how often. It's what teenagers do.
And when the girls start hitting their knees in front of him and the rest of the world starts telling him how special he is and how the rules don't count for him, even the best family support system may not be enough to prevent a lapse in judgement.
He seems like a great kid. Seems like a sweet kid. So as I said before, hope he is able to rise above all those temptations and stay on track. I would love to see him playing on Saturday nights.
With that kind of potential. a thousand temptations will be offered up to him over the next 3 years. Any one of which could stop him from ever seeing an opening kickoff in Tiger Stadium. Hope he stays grounded enough to get there.
Not the weakest, but 'Bama's offense was surprisingly shaky against V.T.
97 yards of total offense in the first half, 216 total.
104 yards on ground with 37 carries.
McCarron 10 of 23 for 112.
Take away the scores by defense and kick returns and you got a close game.
Looking forward to NOV 9 !!!
No Sherman!!!!
No Sherman but no David Duke either.

How about Better Than Ezra?

I just wish they would let the fan base pick the cell and roommate. I like this one.
