had a friend of mine hunt dry rice fields in OK last year and crushed them. worth a shot IMO

believe it or not, ive caught a few bass on campus...fish behind the library and behind the nat..along that land bridge

also ive gone out to abandoned golf course ponds and found fish in there too

moon lake, they have some stumps and trees you can fish from the bank by the launch

went yesterday as well, 4 teal, 1 wigeon, 1 spoon...all taken before 930

I fish the du on the reg...its been a tough summer for the trout this summer. We had a bad winter and a lot of freshwater pushed in. Every time I have gone down this summer I stayed on the inside to bust up some reds. Early summer I went out the the island twice with live minnows and got skunked both times. Things should be a lot better in the fall when these trout move into Mechant.

yeah i stayed at the condos above there a few years back for mardi gras..the bar is small, but from the looks of it, i think it is gonna include the whole place
