Any of y'all been to the Moe's BBQ in Tuscaloosa? The one in Vestavia Hills is very good. I've gotten ribs there before, but we'll usually get the Double Wide or Triple wide meal for a family. The Jalapeno cornbread is great.

Heard it from someone a few years back they they were tired of waiting to get in so they called them from outside and placed a carry out order. 10 minutes later it was ready and they took it all to their tailgate spot. Don't think it is an issue of food, just limited table space.

As far as cell phones go, I went to a couple of games last year in T-town. I hated seeing that big AT&T banner in the stadium, yet having no signal. My parents Verizon's were at least able to send a text. I heard somewhere that Alabama is bringing in these portable cell towers for the games this year. Something mounted on a long truck that they drive into place and set up. Has anyone seen that this year?
And I just switched back to Sprint, so I'm curious to see how their service is on campus. Anyone have experience with that this year?

I heard Sela Ward earlier while listening to the RoundTable.

He does a great job. He also stepped in and called the UAB game a couple weeks when their main guy had either a death/illness in the family.

My bad. Still new here. I was more curious about where you saw it though. Since it was parked outside my work the past couple of days. Not sure if my boss borrowed it from someone or if it was his. He came dressed as a redneck Aub for Halloween the other day.

Is it just me, or does F'Baum only rush the callers to get to a question with Jim Donnan? Thought about this last week on the drive home. Most callers will ramble for a few seconds, asking how FB and the coach are, despite the previous caller 30 seconds prior asking the exact same question. And the caller before that. Pawl usually lets them talk a few seconds then get to a question, but whenever Donnan is on he gets rude with them and makes them ask something in the first 5 seconds or cuts them off. Doesn't seem to do that when Stallings, Dye, G-Mac, or any other guest takes calls.

the gestation period is actually 40 weeks, or 10 months. 9 months is a common misconception and probably led to the poorly timed sex for the OP and his wife.
re: What would it take for you to miss the game this week?

Yeah, I'd have to be dead, or my wife or daughter seriously injured (I won't even risk jinxing myself by mention the D word when it comes to them).
And if I see any of you guys with a broken down car running to the stadium, I'll stop and pick ya up!

That's one of the reasons we're not leaving Birmingham until around Noon. My old man just can't hang anymore. He gets drunk quick, forgets to eat unless I go buy some food and hand it to him, or order him something at whatever bar we're in. Then gets winded climbing the ramp to the upper deck. I gotta make him keep a steady pace.

But don't we get an extra hour since DLS changes at 2 AM? Drops it back to 1AM and you have another hour to party.

I'll be respectful to any LSU fans I run across. Y'all were a good bunch a few years back when we were in Baton Rouge for the Troy game. But I would imagine after the game with mostly everyone drunk, there could be a lack of respect.

Sort of off-topic, but similar to what happened to the Oakland Raiders last year. They were 6-0 in their division but missed the playoffs.

The quad area is always full of people. Tons of tents set up. A few hours before kickoff the band is somewhere in there warming up and playing a few songs.
If you don't feel like bringing in food, there are always a bunch of vendors lining the street. If you have little ones, there's always something for them to do, like those inflatable jump things.
Bars up and down the strip.
