Dennis Lehane’s Patrick Kenzie series is the best one I’ve ever read.

I just started the Books of Babel series with the fist book, Senlin Ascends. It’s very good so far. Has anyone read through all three books?

Just finished The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. It has a really good twist ending. Anyone else read it?

Just finished Cherry by Nico Walker and loved it. He wrote it on a typewriter in jail and he has a very interesting back story. Anybody else read it?

The book came out this year and is already being adapted by Neill Blomkamp.

Just finished The Word is Murder and The Feather Thief. Both were excellent.

Feather Thief surprised me because I was hesitant to read it because of the synopsis but I couldn’t put it down.

I’ve been tearing through Don Winslow’s books. I don’t know how I overlooked them when they came out. The Cartel and The Force are excellent. Reading Power of the Dog now.

Most of the series was filmed in St. Charles Parish in Des Allemands, Bayou Gauche and Norco.
