Cost is pretty close, no fun in buying a prefab though.

10'x10' Storage Shed

Posted by lsuchase on 4/21/15 at 7:59 am
I'm looking into building a small storage shed for my lawnmower/weedeater in Lafourche Parish. Anyone familiar with the building permit process and any FEMA requirements (anchoring)?

Any Sherburne Hunters?

Posted by lsuchase on 10/18/12 at 10:30 pm
I made a few hunts out there last year and have gone 4 or 5 times since opening day. I can't seem to find the deer. Anyone with experience wants to give some friendly advice? No boat or atv so it kinda limits me but I'm not scared to walk.

That's how mine looked except the ceramic was cracked on a couple of them, I must have turned it down too far, the instructions said to tighten until the nut hit the body of the tool, I want to say it was the lisle tool

On a different note, how much will the ceramic effect the engine, I'm at 15k plus I since the plug change

I don't have it handy right now, but the one I used would push the ceramic too far down and hit the bottom section of the spark plug breaking the ceramic

I changed mine and my dads, broke 1 in mine and 3 in my dads

Don't know if it helped but I ran seafoam through my tank cracked them open while the engine was still hot, about a quarter turn, and put some penetrating oil in there and let her soak for 15-30 mins.

If you do it yourself have the tool ($100) handy along with u joints and extensions, the tool works really well but you will wind up with some ceramic left in the hole :/, ...........15k miles since I changed them and no issues with the ceramic I left in.

Sat in the stand at Sherburne this a.m., was only able to sit until 8:30 no deer sighted while in stand but I did walk damn near on top of a spike (still in velvet) on the way out, would of been DRT if a rifle would have been in my hands

re: Deer Head Shots

Shot one in the head a few years ago @ 20 yds, wasn't planned, she was behind a tree with her head down and thats the first that came out :boomheadshot:
I wouldn't put one in my glock FWIW, I would expect reliability issues until I put 1000+ rnds through it to convince myself
1)Shot Placement
2)Adequate Penetration
3)Expansion

so long as these are in check you have a dead animal/zombie/attacker

You influence #1

The speed, weight, and caliber of a bullet is the biggest factor in #2

Bullet design influences #3

My bushnell works great, pretty easy to use and awsome on battery life, price is around $200 though
sounds like a plugged carb to me, my yamaha 150 did this to me a few times and thats what it was
