I will bet a grand that at least ONE of those "injuries" were faked. I would of been pissed as well.

From another board: "Didn't the player who whacked Geno after the whistle flop in the prior series? Looked pretty healthy on that play.
---Yep, he was on the ground 3 times that game. The last two times when he hit the sidelines, he didn't even talk to any of the trainers."
Thank you Coach Holgorsen!

Signed... Muschamp, Saban, and Petrino

And we were warned about both you and Oregon crying about injured players slowing down your gimmick offense.

For the 4th game under a new coach and new system to put up 533 yards on the "best defense ever", I'll take that "gimmick" offense any day of the week. I'd also take Holgorsen over Miles any day. We're going to be just fine.

I love how all I heard was how your DLine was going to blow through our OLine and own Geno. What the hell ever happened with that? If that DLine is the best you got, hate to see you play Alabama. NORFOLK STATE rushed THREE defenders the entire game and put far, far, more pressure on Geno than you did.

Don't get me wrong, I really hope that was the "best defense in the history of college football" for our sake. But, you put zero pressure on our QB, and Austin and Bailey owned your "NFL Corners" for most of the night. I need LSU to win-out to help our SoS. I'm just afraid WVU showed the rest of your opponents how vulnerable you are to the pass. The cat may be out of the bag now, and that sucks.
Oh please.... cry me a river. Everyone knows LSU has that "Injury-Timeout" down better than anyone in college football. Even the Oregon fans warned us.
They weren't.

It's one of those "home team" things. They were "bruuuuuuuuu"'ing for Bruce Irving. If Bruce makes a tackle or play... that's what they do. Sure, maybe it doesn't make sense, but college football is filled with all sorts of little quirky things. Whatever... just realize they were not "boo"ing.

Anyway, your defense is tenacious. Les is a class-act and a very smart coach. Hope you guys don't lose another game because it will help our resume. For our 4th game under a new coach and new offensive system to be able move the ball that well on such a highly-touted defense - I'm happy. I think WVU is in good hands with Holgorsen and wouldn't trade the guy for anyone in college football at the moment. He's moving us in the right direction. If I could, I'd buy everyone one of our offensive lineman a steak. All we heard about all week was how LSU would blow through our O-Line and about how much our O-Line sucked. Nother was further from the truth.

Although everyone talks about the LSU D, what about your offense??? Good Lord! Just a methodical MACHINE at times. Jarrett - SMART player. Kinda has some sort of a confident swagger you don't see often in QBs. Your passing game is seriously underrated! You have such a nice run/pass balance that it gives Les the opportunity to call plays to keep the opposing D completely off balance.

Our new offense and young defense were completely overmatched. The better team won with zero doubt. Too bad we won't play again for probably 10-20 years. It was fun.
20-14.

And guess what? That's one lucky punt return and one FREE score from a fumble inside the 10. 20-14? That's the best you can do at YOUR house? Really???

All this "we will kill Geno Smith" talk is so old and boring. It's like all those bath salts have gone to your brain and you completely forget that we just played you - last frickin' year. The cat is out of the bag. You're not some super-human team of cyborgs. You didn't kill anyone last year. You didn't hurt anyone. You didn't shoot laser-cats (see SNL). You have talent. You have depth. Sure. But, at the end of the day, you're NOT the Baltimore Ravens. You're a very good, yet beatable, team.
Yeah... Holgorsen just said the same thing on his radio show. He fully expects it. Didn't sound very concerned - AT ALL.

Ok...Got Tune-In Radio and 104.5. Looking forward to the show at 3pm. Thanks!

So, if I want to learn about LSU...

...what would be the best radio show to listen to? Is there a nightly call-in show or anything? If so, what time does it usually come on?

Hey LSUrme, what part of Arlington are you in? I'm in Ballston. Got any extra tickets here locally instead of those endzone seats?
You should go ask Virginia Tech what it's like to be ranked in the Top 3 and visit Morgantown at night.

They didn't leave happy.
I'm not sold on your defense yet. Meaning, you haven't played a team that is going to throw 85% of the time.

It will be interesting.
In all honesty, you should beat us. You should completely destroy us. You probably have more 5-star recruits on your scout-team than we've ever had in the history of our program. So trust me, if we lose, it's not going to ruin my year. I just think it's not going to be as easy as you believe. I think you're for a reality check.
 God I love this place. No where else on the Internet is like it. It's like walking into that Star Wars bar.
But I'm not an idiot, I know that's never going to happen.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the key to this game will be the second half. I think emotion and energy will keep us in it for the first half but your depth will wear us down in the second half, and you'll probably take complete control.

Holgorsen's offense is a sink or swim type of offense. Either we get into a rhythm and move the ball down the field, or a quick 3-and-out gives LSU the ball right back way too quickly... which allows you to grind it down the field and eat up some clock.

Of course, if we could all predict games that well, we'd be living a dream at the top of the Bellagio in Vegas. So, anything is possible. There's always the X-Factor... never know who might have a bad night, make a bad play, drop a ball, etc, etc, etc.

At the end of the day, it's still a football game. Anything can happen. You freaks on here talked all that garbage last year about how you would kill us, and sure you won, but you weren't exactly "scary". I get a good laugh reading how you think other teams "fear" LSU, what a joke. These are the games that teams like WVU live for. This is what it's all about.
