Does anyone have the studies he references? I know he mentioned they’re on a jump drive. Just seeing if they’ve been floating around here. Would really enjoy reading through them.

MSA. Pricey but worth it.

Their fit with the gel cups is outstanding.

I routinely shoot at an underground 100yd range and my MSAs dampen the ‘reverb’ quite well.

Outdoor range? HLs or a similar brand.

I’m leaving Sunday. My intentions were to buy a LaRue OBR and have it sent to a FFL in Idaho, which would be a short drive for me. However, since I’m on the way down in a couple days I figured I’d give it a go locally.

Called LaRue today to see if they’d sell in person and it was a no go.

That’s how I understood it as well.

I am aware of the damage. That’s precisely why I stated near. Is Lafayette your recommendation? Any particular store?

Firearms stores - Near SWLA

Long story short—

Driving home from Utah to help my folks clean up their properties. Being a resident of LA, I cannot legally purchase a firearm in Utah, per multiple stores.

Any recommendations on stores near SWLA that specialize or are more geared to long rifles/ ARs? Is Texas an option? (According to my research, yes)

Additionally, looking to pick up a G19.

I am aware that stock has been flying off the shelves.
Just attempted a longer run at alpha base 1st floor.

I went in with a few guns and plenty of food/med packs. Ultimately got blasted by a turret that was at a corner of a bloody hallway.

Still working on the ATV..
Lvl 19 at the moment..

I found a solid method to taking out the spitters..

I try to stay close and right before they go to spit I side step (get out of the red zone) and get 2 hits (depending upon weapon), then rinse and repeat. Their punches do a 4 damage to me, and I believe the spit does 15 and requires a shower after that.

Oh and carrots are top fricking notch. I have anywhere from 40+ saved up at any time for when SHTF.
Empire State Buidling as mentioned. Ground zero for sure, it's such a surreal experience. Central Park, so you can check out the rollerblading scene from big daddy. Wall St. was fun, tons of asians though. Times Square was interesting, I'm not sure how desirable it would be now with the SJWs setting up shop. I took the train in and I was in awe of how massive a city it is, and I've been to pretty much every large city in the US.

How old are you? Sorry if I missed that.

I ask because target dates are fine for someone with minimal knowledge, however, I would argue there are alternatives to that which may be more beneficial but carry a certain inherent risk with them.

Ultimately, you can't (you could but unlikely) go wrong with a target date fund.

I don't usually like to quote this but, "time in the market beats timing the market". Just keep chipping in!
Bend, OR.

Could be biased because I live here but it's incredible, although expensive.
MileIQ in the App Store, might be helpful, depends upon your needs I suppose.

RN/BSN. May '14 graduate here.

As far as my experience goes.. I started on an ortho/neuro/med surg overflow unit. I completed roughly 5 months on that particular unit, working days and nights to "get my feet wet".

Around 4 months ago I applied for a surgery position (OR, not clinic), and I actually got the job (skeptical b/c I had little exp). In the OR, my title is a circulator, a position which requires a BSN degree. Surgery is an entirely different environment in almost every way. My schedule is 6:30a-3p on weekdays, weekends off unless you're on call, with around 12-15 call days a month (I'm CVOR, we take more call days). If surgery becomes a possibility, I would recommend it highly.

In regards to salary, I would guesstimate 50-70k (surgical) depending upon amount of call days and actual instances where you're called in.

Definitely go for BSN, there are more opportunities available. I can't comment regarding going through the hospital, as I went strictly through the university. I did, however, work in ICU as a tech throughout nursing school, and it helped a lot when interviews came around.

SOCOM 1&2 spoiled me. Best multiplayer experience ever, to this day.
iOS 6 for iOS 7 (theme). It has been updated and looks pretty nice. Granted it is only the icons that have been changed, not the UI.
