My Halo 5 XBone arives in 8 days. Already downloaded on my current XBone awaiting 10/27. (no split screen with two sons=having to buy another gotdamn console)

Thought about making this thread earlier today. Started playing through all the campaign missions again this week to get ready. This game looks so god damn good.

That game was made by like 12 different companies and was forced out early.
I completely understand waiting a week or two after it comes out to make sure it is running correctly and the reviews are good, but it just seems dumb to completely write off what looks like an excellent game because of that.
I still buy EA, Ubisoft, Activision, etc titles despite some the shite they have released over the years.
Besides what they did with the MCC is great now that it works. It is a game that will stay pinned on my Xbox for most of its lifecycle.

You see below that "SWAY with Magnums" is split into its own list. I asked DelHoyo if this meant that SWAT only featured the Battle Rifle and SWATnums only featured the Magnum. No, he said. "We went with two variants here because we wanted to maintain the classic feeling of SWAT with the Battle Rifle version but we also wanted to give a place for players to practice their headshot skills with the Magnum as it’s the primary utility weapon that players spawn with in all modes across Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer. I don't know. The look and feel of Halo 5 coupled with the game modes makes it seem like Call of Duty with a Halo skin on it. I mean, that is essentially what every single FPS out right now is doing, but I just can't grasp it yet. I love my old Halo (Halo:CE/Halo 2). Ever since they started adding in bubble shields and gravity lifts and all that, the game just became stale to me. I stopped playing midway through 3.

Hes a Spartan now. The Spartan 4 program is all volunteer and has a near 100% survival rate for the augmentations

I see people say this, but I would love to hear what makes you think that. I could understand that maybe if you were talking about 4 that classes, drops, etc, but Halo 5 has really gone back to its roots while adding things that make a lot of sense with a modern day shooter like sprint and ADS.
I go back and play Halo CE and Halo 2 all the time on the MCC. You really notice not being able to sprint in those games.
