Any speckled trout reports coming outta venice?

Been catching some in their fall spots over the last month. All the white trout you can catch, but trout weren't stacked up yet as of 2 weeks ago. 3 of us caught 15 reds and 25 specs over 2 days. Water was still 85 then. Need it a little cooler than that for them to fully be in those spots. Headed down this weekend expecting it to be better.

After looking at wind forecast, looks like we won't be going down this weeked.

You can catch fish in the wind. Now it's usually the red variety instead of the trout variety but don't let a little wind scare you from going fishing.

You can. I get to go quite often though so I'd rather go when conditions are better.

Agree there. But some of my best days were days I thought would suck because of wind. But it is aggravating to deal with.

If we didn't fish in the wind we'd never fish. Except i never fish anyway because life for the past couple years...
