Just a TRUE fan of Mr. Ott, and as a TRUE fan, you want that athlete to prosper at the next level, be it baseball, football, basketball, tennis...??
You are correct on a lot of things PNG. A positive atmosphere has made a difference, and having coaches that work with you. As far as "The Bigs," I predict he will rise quickly through the ranks of Minor League ball. He is showing lots of movement on his current pitches, much to his coaches' delight, and any future pitches will only add to his value as a potential closer when the time comes for his appearance out of the bullpen at Fenway. :geauxtigers:
Former LSU RHP Matty Ott is showing he has the skillset and talent to do it big at the next level. In after 3 games, he holds an ERA of 0.00, and has only allowed 2 hits and 2 walks, struck out 8 after facing 25 batters. He has closed 2 of the 3 games for the current closer of the Lowell Spinners, and was Player of the Game the 3rd game. Why are some LSU fans so eager to see him go? You don't break the saves record if you have no natural ability. Just saying...
