flexible dieting / IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros), is the simpliest and easiest way to go about fat loss. meal timing doesn't have any affect on your body composition, so eat 6 times a day, 3 times a day, once a day....as long as you take in the right amount in that 24 hour period, doesnt matter. btw, ive lost about 20 lbs since December while gaining muscle and strength
i think most people get caught up in common misonceptions about fitness and nutrition....and try doing crash diets that only work in the short term. trying to go super low carbs, then pigging out on weekends because they starved themselves all week. i calculated and starting tracking my macros in January and have lost about 16 lbs.... from 185 to 169.

i would say what to expect varies depending on where your going. i worked offshore for about 3 years, on production platforms, for Shell, Chevron, BP, Anadarko, Apache, W&T, and maybe a couple other i'm forgetting. your deepwater platforms were usually nicer, food was better.... your smaller companies it was usually operators doing the cooking or fending for yourself.

re: Offshore Jobs - Where to start

from what i know T2 training is just basicaly a safety coourse that they send you to usually after you are already hired, or may be required when going to certain platform. i know when i worked offshore they sent a few guys to take that class basically because they would be doing some work on un-manned platforms. don't think taking that will give you much chance at getting job than not. Technical schools around here offer PTEC degrees and some offer offshore specific PTEC degrees. thats what you should get into if you want to get into operations offshore.
GW Fins is good.... Jager Haus if you want to try some german food and beer.... Stanleys for breakfast if you like vanilla Ice Cream on your pancakes!
my first time playing with stocks on Scottrade, invested a little bit into DNDN at $4, didn't check it for months, then realized it went up to $20+ a share, so sold it. Used this money to then invest into AVNR in which i bought at about $1.09 a share, it is now up to about $3.40 a share. had a few other forgetable stocks which i sold for losses but have gained much more than i lost.
have you given thought do earning a 2 year tech degree in Process Technology? This would help you get on as an operator offshore or on land. great starting pay
i use scottrade, and have no complaints, also has a nice mobile app
I think a good number are offered jobs if they do well in their internships. I have worked on many Shell platforms so I've had a chance to talk to some of the interns. They usually intern for 6 months, then when hired on they spend i think a year at Ram Powell, which is considered like the training facility, then from their they are sent to another platform on a more permanent basis. Shell operators are paid in the $40 an hr range, and they work 14 and 14

yes there are, my last job i was going to a platform owned by Clovelly once a month to do their gas measurement and pull gas samples. their gas goes to Shell. I would take a boat from Kenner Boat Launch to the platform.

Friday October 14th (5 PM to 9 PM)
Saturday October 15th (Noon to 9 PM)
Of what I have tried my favorite is Heiner Brau's Octoberfest. I also tried a brew they had on tap at Covington Brewhouse, i think its a special brew they make to have at their Christmas parties, aged a year or 2..... well anyways they let me try it and wow, it was Heaven in a glass
