The Braves have been the better team, but there’s been great games between the two teams in the second half. Riley getting a triple and homer off Duran to win two games is awesome.

Explain to me how they do not charge Acuna with an error after that fielding fiasco?
Zero chance that run scores if he fields that ball

The run is scoring regardless because it was a laser hit over 100mph. There were also 2 outs, so he was running on contact. Just because he got a glove on it doesn't mean he should've fielded it.

The error should've been when he bobbled trying to pick it up against the wall, allowing Realmuto to go to third.

Speaking of that Realmuto hit, Fuentes last 6 hits he's given up, dating back to the Marlins game where he got shelled, the EV's have all been over 97mph.

He would not have scored if Acuna gets the ball back to the infield

I was at the game. He would not have been sent.

By the time the ball got to the wall, he was rounding third.

Ronnie tried to take a sharper route to it and cut the ball well before it got to the wall(which was the correct move considering the 2 out scenario), but again, the ball was laced so it was always going to be tough.

Why are we bitching about not charging Ronald with an error? We won.

Gotta get to Sanchez as early as we can. With Duran down today, their bullpen is all kinds of fricked.

Let’s wrap this shite up here today. Need Acuña, Baldwin and Olson to wake their asses up.

I think he's available if they need him, just won't be as sharp. I bet we see Wheeler out of the bullpen in a high leverage spot for them today. They would still have Nola available to start tomorrow if they went this route.

Need Mahle to get off to a good start today. His last start was bad, but it was his only bad one with the Braves.

And can we get some goddamn early runs for a change?

Very interested to see how he (and Holmes for that matter whenever he pitches) handles his first playoff appearance. Dissecting batters is a whole different beast once the postseason starts. Elder and Strider both learned that the hard way,
