I am not so worried about myself as I am if he was to get pulled over or need to present it to a game warden and him being in position of a gun he didn't buy. Just wanted to make sure it wouldn't cause any headaches down the road for him.
I have a friend who works for a distributer so I would be getting wholesale. So a gift certificate would't work.

No history of legal trouble and everything else is good.
Gifting Firearms

I am sure it has been discussed on here before, but I used the search function and nothing came up.
Anyways looking at purchasing a pistol for a friend as a gift and wonder what if any paperwork legally needs to be done to transfer ownership in Louisiana. Thanks for the input.
I searched ATF website and it was of no help.

Just flew in from Chicago 30 minutes ago. Young guy here. Say in wriggly ville plenty of chill and sports bars and food options in walking distance. Train runs right by the stadium. You can study near Addison or southport train station and get anywhere in the city from there. We got the 7 day train pass only 33 bucks and well worth it.
Have it happen all the time and they deliver it the next day. I think the truck drivers do it to make themselves look good to the bosses when they can't make all their drops in one day
installing a trolling motor on a tarpon 120
Posted by Groundhog on 5/17/14 at 6:45 pm
Anyone installed a trolling motor on a tarpon? I have seen the 2x4 method, and think I could make it work by installing it with the rear track system to prevent from drilling into the boat.
Just wondering if anyone else has done it yet and come up with an idea I haven't thought of yet.

I actually read a blog about the guys who do it a week at a time. That sounds like a cool way to have a meaningful family trip. I don't think I would get burned out on it. If it gets to where you feel burned out you can all pull over on a sandbar and make camp for a few days.

kayaking the Mississippi
Posted by Groundhog on 11/5/13 at 11:39 pm
I saw a video on someone who did it from Minnesota to NOLA. Me and a friend were discussing trying it out ourselves. we have moderate experience kayaking but nothing near anything this big. anyone have experience with long distance trips like this. What to look for in a kayak? What to look for concerning camping gear besides the obvious. Thanks for any advice.
A 2 hour drive is ok, I was thinking maybe some of Louisiana national parks, just wondering if anyone had any experiences
