I've got a 19 L5P with 40K miles, mine has been doing this for about 5k miles. I've read on various L5P groups/forums that it is a bad tank sensor. The sensor is located within the tank, so the entire tank must be replaced. Apparently this is a common issue as multiple people in these groups are...

I followed the steps I mentioned above, although my gel coat was in pretty good shape to begin with, I only compounded in bad spots. Then it was polish and hand waxed. I used the 3M Finesse It polish and Collinite paste wax. I was very pleased with the outcome. This was done during a haul out tw...

FWIW, I have never used an electric smoker, but will say as another possible option, look into a UDS (ugly drum smoker). They require minimal effort, and turn out some really good bbq. I built one, and used it for about 5 years, ended up building one for my BIL and father, both of them love theirs. ...

I sail out of SWLA and plan on doing some charters in the future too. Emerald Coast Yachts in Pensacola is a charter company and sailing school. They do "live-aboard" sailing classes so you'll be able to learn and have the enjoyment of a charter in one. I have not used them, but the wife and I h...
My daughter is 10 months, and around 18 lbs. I am considering the infant one from Mustang Survival. I like their adult products. We have a mid sized sailboat, with all the things to trip over as she gets more mobile, I want something good. Safety is number 1, price doesn't really matter. [img]ht...

We are small business in SWLA and an OEM of pressure control equipment. We've taken it on the chin starting in November of 14. Its been a struggle to hold on to the small number of employees we have. All the time. Thats not a bad price to have access to boats. More than likely, you'll meet other sailors with lots of opportunity to crew on race boats, which is a great way to learn.
