re: Reuniting Phil Fulmer and The Chief
Posted by robdoglsu4life on 1/9/11 at 11:50 am to GetBackToWork
do u guys know anything about football? I mean u would rather hire Bo Pelini than Phil Fulmer compare their resume's not even close Phil is a proven winner in this league. Fulmer took some time off to recharge his batteries and LSU is the perfect fit for Fulmer and LSU. I mean it's like u r saying Bill Cowher is not a good coach he took some time off to recharge and now he is ready. Fulmer was on top for many many years it was time for him to rest and recharge, but he is ready now do your research before u post

he is right about if we loose Les then we need to get Phil Fulmer here is why he is a proven winner in the sec knows what it takes to win in the sec and recruit he has had time off to recharge his batteries he is a good man like Miles is and Chavis would stay if we hired Phil this would be the right hire if Les leaves then Phil should be number one on our list
what is the video on rivals about Much LSU in San Antonio ?

Gary Crowton went away from the run to quick last yr
Posted by robdoglsu4life on 5/23/10 at 2:36 pm
i know the offensive line was bad last yr but i think most of the blame should fall on Crowton for our bad offense last yr the only teams in the sec that had fewer rushing attempts were South Carolina Arkansas and Georgia Jordan Jefferson was a first yr starting qb and Crowton should have ran the rock more Charles Scott was avg 4.7 a carry and Keiland Williams was avg 5.3 a carry Crowton didnt give them the ball enough
Frank Cignetti Jr

i hope he is on the short list for the OC job he has NFl exp as a QB coach and look what he did for Bill Stull the year before Cignetti got there Stull had 9 tds and 10 picks this year he had 19 tds and 6 picks would be great for JJ and he runs a pro style offense

I think we get out coached tonight again because of Crowton u dont want to get into a shootout against Arkansas and i think that is what Crowton's gameplan will be tiger faithfull will be begging to get a pro style cordinator after tonight our gameplan tonight should be keep their Offense off the field by running it right at them

i think u r right about Gary Crowton not being a good coach but it seems to me the type of talent we have on this team is more suited for a pro syle offense with the big tall wrs and Jordan Jefferson would fit in great in the pro style i dont think u want JJ to throw the ball 45 times each and every game he seems more suited for the pro style than the spread

i dont think so we need to get away from all this spread stuff and we difently do not need Boise States OC cause that type of offense would not fit our personnell plus i dont think that offense works period in the sec

i say we hire Pitts OC he runs a good pro syle and he is good at developing Qbs

dude r u serious D Thompson aint that good watched a few gms this yr he has dropped a lot of passes and R Copper your wrs are down and u know it the only good d u played all year was TN and u couldnt pass on them get real
re: Call me crazy, but I like the Florida match-up.
Posted by robdoglsu4life on 10/5/09 at 11:15 am to gatorrocks
Florida did outrush the vols but u ran it 44 times and the Vols had no passing game at all none Florida should have shut the run down bottom line
re: Call me crazy, but I like the Florida match-up.
Posted by robdoglsu4life on 10/5/09 at 11:00 am to catsigater
yeah but Florida should have shut the run completly down the Vols have no passing game and terrible qb

we showed some life in the running game against georgia who i think is stronger up front than florida

i know a lot of people think floridas d is great but the Vols ran it right down their throats and the Vols dont have any type of passing game
re: Jarrett Lee or Jordan Jefferson
Posted by robdoglsu4life on 9/27/09 at 8:42 pm to hacanms
i know JJ has been nearly mistake free but he has also been highly inconsistent and not good enough on the deep ball we need some consistency in the pass game not 1 touchdown drive then 3 straight 3 and outs we cant beat the big dogs like that
Jarrett Lee or Jordan Jefferson
Posted by robdoglsu4life on 9/27/09 at 8:30 pm
i know some of u might think im crazy but i think one of the biggest problems on offense this yr is the qb im not hatin on Jordan Jefferson but i dont think he fits what type of offense Crowton wants to run to me he seems more fit for a conservative pro style attack I think Jarrett Lee fits the spread better because he has better accuracy and his timing is better what do u guys think
re: Two different coaching staffs; Same defense; Whose to blame?
Posted by robdoglsu4life on 9/6/09 at 12:39 pm to The Rev
hey mike do everybody a favor and dont post stupid shite like this again its hard for any east coast team to travel to the west coast for an opener LSU will be right in the thick of things when its all said and done
re: So, who's wearing their purple-colored glasses this today?

there is some dumb arse fans on this board if some of u watched football it would shock me i will admit the first half the defense didnt look to good but LSU'S offense was terrible in the first half the defense couldnt get off the field and when they did the offense went 3 and out in the second half LSU looked much better on both sides of the ball in my opinion LSU will contend for the sec champioship because crowton did not show much on offense and the d will get better every game this year but the offense will have to move the ball more not so many 3 and outs im not worried at all to me Crowton called a very vanillia gameplan i dont think the coaches were expecting a dog fight that Washington put up
