SAINT PAUL, Minnesota -- The University of Notre Dame hockey team will seek the program's first national championship on Saturday, April 7, when the Irish take on Minnesota Duluth in the NCAA Frozen Four final.

Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul. It's a rematch of a 2011 Frozen Four semifinal game which UMD claimed, 4-3, on the same sheet en route to a national title. Fans can watch live on ESPN and WatchESPN, with the radio call available on 94.3 FM in South Bend and worldwide on UND.com.

Blonde Beauties May get whacked by the Irish. Notre Dame has been best team all year.

Duluth up two. Let's see if these cardiac kids from South Bend can do it again.

Go UMD. Have several colleagues that went there. On a side, the Xcel Energy Center is really nice arena and they made a great choice for Frozen Four.

Yeah, that's awesome. Not sure if I like Bucci and Melrose, but for one game, it's fine.

Can't believe they were considering a major on ND there. But, it's two minutes.

Notre Dame had a lot of close games recently and seemed challenged offensively, winning their first three tournament games either in the final seconds or needing overtime. UMD didn't lose many key players from last year's runner up, outside of Miska leaving, Iafallo graduating and there's another guy I'm forgetting his name. Nice class for UMD coming in next year, so they should have a decent chance at repeating.

Woah UMD skated 5 of 6 fr freshman and lost Adam Johnson in July. This team grew a ton since January and won 8 of last 9 vs North Dakota and last 8 vs Gophers. Lost a ton from last year, this season was a big surprise. Sandelin was clear coach if the year. Duluth is crazy tonight!!!!!
