re: SEC Tournament - some recommended restaurants?

Thanks for all of the info. We moved here so that I could finish my third and fourth year of medical school. Did the first two years in Kansas City (great place to live except for Big XII :yack:). We lived in Hattiesburg prior to that are life-long south MS natives. Glad to be back in the southeast for sure - even if it is in the heart of BAMA land - oh well, makes it sweeter when we beat 'em a few miles down the road this year.
We live in Bluff Park, so pretty near Joe's. Will have to try it out. If you do hear about team being there, please let me know. My 8 year old would literally eat that up. We were in Omaha last year, walked up to Rosenblatt right when Tiger bus was pulling up and got to see everybody get off. Boys were a little shy, but my oldest did get Jared Mitchell's auto on his cap. He loves it.
Sat through 2-3+ hours of lightning delay against UNC - fortunately sitting in grandstand. Next night, when Clark tied it with a bomb in the 8th, my son when crazy. Then when UNC hit grand slam in 9th, he burst into violent sobs for at least 10 minutes. One of proudest moments of my life - I've got another true Tiger! :nana: :nana:
Will have to try Cajun Cleavage out as well. Haven't had any good boudin in a while - not much in Kansas!
Thanks again for all the info and :geauxtigers:

Sounds like I'm a week late! Story of my life, I guess.
I also had some crawfish at steamer, and they tasted good, but small and pricy - just wanted to eat some crawfish and have a few beers.
So is Joe's a market also? Would love to find somewhere locally to get good seafood.
Cool talking with you.

Never heard of Jubilee Joe's before - just moved here end of last year. I'll definitely have to check it out. May wait until SEC tourney days and hopefully run into some other Tigers!

Cajun Steamer in Patton Creek is much closer to Regions Park, and there is LSU stuff around the bar. Ate there last night and royal reds were incredible. Hope you enjoy your stay and :geauxtigers:
